Dear Chocolatier: Chocolate Box 2020

Thank you in advance for the treat I’m going to get to enjoy from you, I can’t wait! Please don’t be intimidated by my big spread of requests--I thought I’d throw a few different things out there to give my chocolatier some choices and potentially fulfill some much-loved rarer ships of mine, but I encourage you to follow whatever idea or fandom/pairing sparks inspiration from this assortment!
You may notice a lot of my requests include polyships; full disclosure, I adore many ot3+ ships but I’m often less likely to find content for them, so I thought it’d be worth it to request them here. However, if you’d prefer not to write a polyship for any reason (or just have a great idea for one of the pairs) please don’t feel pressured to! I’d be more than happy receiving something featuring any of the relationships I’ve listed. ^^
Hopefully you’ve seen the brief prompts and notes I’ve made for each fandom request in my signup--they are just ideas I’ve tossed out, so follow your inspiration and I’m sure I’ll love whatever you create. That said, here are a few extra general tidbits that might help you:
Generally across all fandoms, I LOVE:
- AUs! Magical realism and ‘verses involving mental and emotional connections between characters (ex. Pacific Rim, His Dark Materials) are among my absolute favorites, but I also love to see what other AUs people come up with
- The process of ships getting together or growing closer, whatever that entails! Missing canon scenes or canon divergence, mutual pining, learning something new about each other, fake dating, bed sharing, general hijinks, adventures, shenanigans and beyond--I love it all, the sky’s the limit
- Banter! This will differ based on the characters involved of course, but I always love fun and in-character dialogue and conversations, even if the characters are just hanging out and doing day-to-day stuff
- Fluff! Doesn’t matter how mundane, give me a warm/intimate/meaningful/sweet/silly moment between characters and I’ll be thrilled
- NSFW is A-OK if you’re inspired, but please see below for my DNWs if that’s the direction you’re taking. As a general rule I prefer warmer and fluffier intimacy/sex to anything rough or angsty. Stuff like body worship, praise kink, sensual foreplay, eagerness and desperation, discovering and exploiting new erogenous zones, and negotation of intimacy/sex for the first time (especially if it’s a polyship) are extra good! (P.S. It’s also VERY okay to have female characters take charge, top, or switch!)

-character death, suicide, or grave injury/illness
-infidelity or breakups
-heavy angst or very graphic violence
-abuse
-genderswaps/bends
-For NSFW: Characters involved being above or aged-up 16+ is preferred, and please no noncon, dubcon, a/b/o, hate sex, mpreg, BDSM, humiliation, painplay, public sex/exhibitionism, or kinks involving elimination. See my above note on welcome NSFW tropes for a better idea of the things that I do enjoy.
If you do decide to write something for a polyship:
-Firstly, thank you! :D
-I love reading poly negotiation and realization--how do they all first get together? Who figures it out first and who’s adorably or willfully oblivious? Does it evolve from an already established pair or pairs to a triad/quartet, or do they all just sort of drift together? Is it organic and natural, or awkward and bumpy as hell? And you can never go wrong with pining!
-I also love reading established polyships though; how does their dynamic look in daily life? What does each person bring to the relationship? What are their dates and outings like? How do they make it ‘work’? How do they communicate, express affection, get intimate, and hang out together?
-Generally I love when all members of the polyship are equal, welcome, and have mutual feelings for one another in the relationship, without any character being written like they’ve just been tacked onto the periphery or shoehorned into a ship. But some denial, confusion, and awkwardness in getting there is just fine!
-I’m not interested in cheating or jealousy/bitterness surrounding polyships, whether real or something the characters imagine/accuse each other of
